Come Friday, we would be meeting the latest batch of St Teresa, that is Rohan (Tiger Shroff), Shreya (Ananya Panday) and Mia/ Mridula (Tara Sutaria) in Karan Johar’s Student of The Year 2. The trio are city hopping for the promotional activities of the Punit Malhotra directorial and their chemistry on screen is the reflection of the bond they share off-screen. While Tiger and Tara are a bit reserved and composed, Ananya is a bundle of energy. But this is exactly why the trio hit it off and made for the perfect group – visually as well as intellectually. They all connected well with each other and the result can be seen in the trailer.
Recently, BollywoodLife met with the trio for a fun interaction and on being asked about the experience of working on a huge film like this one, Tara was the first one to answer. She said, “It feels beyond surreal, like I am looking at the poster even now and I am like that’s not even us, is it? But it is, it feels so-so weird to actually see this. It’s our first time with so many things. Lots of firsts in the last few weeks, especially with our trailer out and the songs out. It feels magical
During the rest of our chat more interesting discussions came up. On asking who was the biggest bully on sets and who was the perpetual victim, the three answered in unison and their answer came as a surprise. Apparently, Tara-Tiger-Ananya would gang up on their director Punit. “I think we all ganged up on Punit. So, we used to mainly pit on our director,” Tiger confessed. Watch the chat here
On the work front, all three of them have projects lined up after SOTY2. Tiger Shroff has Baaghi 3 in the pipeline alongside sharada kapur Tara Sutaria has Marjaavan opposite siddharth and RX 100 with debutante Ahan Shetty. Ananya, on the other hand, has Pati Patni Aur Who along with wbhumi hich is the remake of a 1978 movie by the same name. These students are going to go a long-long way, we must say.
Well, we cannot wait to see these wild and naughty students set the silver screens on fire with their performances. Are you too excited for Student of the Year 2? Keep reading BollywoodLife for more scoops and updates.
