SS Rajamouli’s magnum opus, Baahubali: The Beginning, which featured Prabhas, Rana Daggubati, Anushka Shetty, Tamannaah Bhatia, Nassar, Ramya Krishnan and Sathyaraj in key roles, has completed 5 years of release today. The film was a game-changer in Bollywood, as it was the first Hindi dubbed film to enter the Rs 100 crore club at the box office. It established Prabhas as a Pan-India star and made one of the biggest celebs of the country. On the occasion of this special moment, Tamannaah shared a video clip of fearless Avanthika to treat her fans.
Recalling her Baahubali experience, the actress recently told Mumbai Mirror, âThe offers I got after my initial Hindi films were nothing to write home about, so I didnât accept any. Thankfully, Bahubali happened and was loved everywhere. It made me realise that we all represent Indian cinema and donât need to differentiate between regions. Unification will only make us stronger.â
She further said, âWhat I love the most about Rajamouli sir is that he doesnât cast an actor for who he or she is or the bond they share but only if he thinks
you fit the role. Even before Bahubali, I was being considered for some of his other films, but he didnât choose me then. So, whenever he calls, you know that part is made for you.â Talking about her next Hindi project Bole Chudiyan with Nawazuddin Siddiqui, she said, âHe has done a lot of intense work, but ours is a humorous love story set against a rural backdrop. You donât see him in such films; it was interesting to see him transform,â
